Harriett Jane Hanson Robinson ? so many changes in American Society between 1820 and the Civil War. She was on the front lines of the industrial revolution in a textile mill in Lowell, Massachusetts, warm poor she began work at the age of 10. At age 11 she led her coworkers in a strike to protest reduction in wages. Married (1848) to William Stevens Robinson, editor of an anti slavery newspaper in Lowell, Massachusetts, bringing her to middle class standing. She was involved in the anti slavery movement, supported the new Whig party, and eventually embraced women?s suffrage.

Pickett?s Charge By Jakob Verhulst My project is a model of Pickett?s Charge. The clothespin people with the blue uniforms are the Union soldiers. The gray uniformed people are the Confederates. Pickett is the one with the sword and the yellow sash hanging from his waist. The clump of trees is the goal that Confederates were charging toward, because it was what they could see from a mile away.

Samoa: 1898 Germany vs US over Samoa- There was a Samoan crisis and conflict between Germany, USA, and Great Britain. During the Samoan Civil War. 1899 US vs Germany Split- The conflict was ended in the Tripartite Convention in 1899. The Convention stated that the Samoan archipelago would be split between German and American sides. German Samoa eventually became a republic while we still hold American Samoan.
