Edgar Cayce was born on March 8, 1877 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He was born to mother Carrie Cayce and father Leslie B. Cayce as their second child. Edgar was the first child of his parents to live because their first child died shortly after her first birthday from unknown causes. Edgar grew up with three sisters on a farm in Kentucky. Many things happened in Edgar Cayce?s childhood. When he was only four, he witnessed the accidental drowning of his grandfather at his family farm.
