Should YouTube be censored? Isn?t it already? to an extent? The webpage?s online guidelines restrict certain content from being uploaded, banning pornography and gratuitous and/or graphic violence. Controversy on the issue, however, has been brought to light by the recent uprisings in Libya, Egypt and Tunisia. Fingers pointed at YouTube for allowing religiously offensive content to be watched at a global scale, but, how do you censor without limiting someone?s liberty to free expression? How much is YouTube to blame for these waves of violence, flooding the Arab Spring nations with blood and hatred?
