I'm taking IB economics (which focuses more on the Macro aspect even though we do cover parts of micro in details) and I'm really enjoying it. ALthough the class is boring at times, you do learn things that are completely applicable in real life. I find that as I'm becoming more and more aware of what's happening around the world, I'm thinking things in terms of economics which help explain why and what happens in many cases (as in the reasons behind the asian stock market dip last month if i remeber correctly)! i suggest taking it and you can never take too many classes even though some are just plain pointless!

Depends on what you go into, business, finance, or any kinds of social science will need economics, also math such as statistics or geometry and calculus need a little bit of eco. Often it depends on the teacher. If you have a bad teacher in this class rthen it could be very frustrating, because AP eco. is a very abstract class, and the class goes at lightning speed, so..........:

Shit.. I thought it was gonna be a fun class. And I'm taking both.

At least I'm going into political science..
