Can you blame him? I see the world simply, if I am the determining factor in my success or failure I do not need the interjection of others. Machiavelli takes my view to an extreme. In ?The Prince? we see a guideline as to how princes should see the world. Moreover, we read about how they should rule. There is a synergy between the view of mankind taken by the princes of Machiavelli and the leaders of the world in 2016.

Wealth and Power in Renaissance Italy Renaissance A French word meaning ?rebirth? first used by art historian and critic Giorgio Vasari to refer to the rebirth of the culture of classical antiquity. Economic growth laid the material basis for the Italian Renaissance, and ambitious merchants gained political power to match their economic power.
