Crowding Out - is what happens when a mega sports event attracts fanatics but drive agnostics away Substitution - when consumers shift their spending, instead of increasing their overall consumption Leakage - the tendency for money to circulate out of rather than through a local economy Economics - Social science concerned with the efficient use of limited resources to achieve maximum satisfaction of economic wants (study of how individuals and societies deal with scarcity) What is economics? -science of scarcity (the condition in which our wants are greater than our limited resources) -since we are unable to have everything we desire, we must make choices on how we use our resources -in economics we will study the choices of individuals, firms and governments

Study of individuals in every day like Any interactions is social The study of companionship and relation How we interact- eg uni allows interaction then is influences our way of thinking It me against the rest of the world We associate through cyber and media as well as in person. Its part of everyday life, We are influenced by our structure that surrounds is. The global aspect influenced how we view the world personally Within every culture there are separate interests that influence each other Social class- upperclass, middle and working class Why and what influenced criminal activity How free are we, do we have full independence in freedom and in speech Are out through sand behavior influenced by outside factors Anthony Goddens asks if we really make our own choice
