Depending on their culture, however, they may not get to choose who they marry. In India, for example, girls are married off at a young age; to whomever their parents decide will benefit their family the best, not necessarily their daughter. [Body Paragraph 1] A marriage is considered arranged when people other than the ones getting married are involved. It can be anyone, including the bride and/or groom?s parents, a match maker, or another trusted third party.
