SQ3R - Sumarize, Question, Read, Recite, Review <--This doesnt work for me but idk u
http://www.ucc.vt.edu/stdysk/sq3r.html

Categorize - Read each paragraph and write an 8 word sentence about the most important part of that paragraph. Once you finish the Chapter, put each 8 word sentance into categories base on the type of history it is (ie. Political, Intelectual, Economic, Social, etc.) <--- This is what I use

Hope that helps

Outline, make timelines, do the guidebook, look at the outlines on course-notes.

Well I sumtimes rewrite my lecture notes into import parts that I think I need to know and then seperate the info into sections of what happen throughout the chapter. Then I go through it in my head.
Hope that helps

Not to be a jerk. But let the mods do the modding. The thought is appreciated. But if there is a problem just send us a PM (as was done) and we'll handle it from there. Otherwise it just contributes to the off topic discussion.

Bann-inated.

well not to be a jerk but, it looks like while i may not have been around as long as you guys however i am the second most active person on the forums... im not sure if that counts for anything considering ive been around since september and made 130+ posts - i think ive earned my spot in being able to say we dont want posts like that around. obviously i dont have the power to ban but eh close enough to a mod huh?
