but i need more than that. thats pretty obvious, but i need details. how it ended, What it led to, including ideas and emotions on both sides. Not to mention the acts that were passed and the results of them.

And you expect me (us) to do it for you?

I assure you a lot of people would help you if you first tried and posted what you came up with THEN asked for help.

ok well basically salutary neglect can be looked at as this metaphor...the parents(Britain) of a child (colonies) has always been very flexible with rules. The parents were very lax. Then one day you come home and your parents turn your world upside down and become very strict. This would make anyone mad. If the parents were strict your whole life you may night like it but it wouldn't upset you as much.

the regular definition of salutary neglet.... brittish left the colonies alone for long enough for the coloies to become "independent" as so many said. but then when the colonies had troubles with the french the brittish came in a helped them then when the colonies wanted to become truly independent the "mother" country stepped in and finally inforced all the laws they werent "inforcing" before..... the end (this then cause an uproar... but, salutaroy neglet is how the brittish left the colonies alone)
