Which one do you think is the more powerful chamber of Congress

This is a really belated response, but if you consider the powers that each one has, as well as the amount of respect accorded to each, all signs point to the Senate. They ratify treaties and all that, and basically the House breaks ties. They really go hand-in-hand, but if a politician had to CHOOSE which one to be, they'd go for the Senate. Fewer of them = more elite. It's the stepping stone to the presidency.
