Suggestions?

For my college chemistry class we are supposed to build a model to represent sodium and chloride and the thing that bonds them together. It can be anything as long as it is in a cube shape. I have really no clue what I can use. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm not sure if I'm too late, but you could also use syrofoam, clay, a songe, or even paper. Anyway, I wish you luck if you still have to do it.

Nice one. You can even eat it when you're through...

Hrm... Marshmallows is how our class always worked with models... But try not to use square objects as your atoms. The ideal thing would be to have small balls of two different sizes stuck to each other in the lattice formation...
