I'm curious because ever since my school got AP Bio the AP Chem class has been tiny. We have 8 this year. Perfect for lab days... 4 groups of two. I like it small... curious. :cool:

While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! Class size is all determined by how many people signed up to take the class and how many periods they can schedule for the subject. We have ten in my chem class, down from twelve in the beginning of the year. Last year there were two periods of about 15 or so. I like it small too. It allows for jokes as well as individual attention.
Oh, and my Physics C class is only 6 people, we almost didn't get to keep it.

10 in my AP Chemistry class, but there are 3 different "periods" for the class so there is a total of about 50, my class being the smallest.
Three classes of about 20-25 some students.
My school has one class of 12.
Two classes of thirty, and my school only has 400 students!
1 class of 10 students, 5 are in AP Chem, and 5 are in Chemistry SL IB, but combining the classes was the only way we could keep the class. by comparison, bio has 4 classes each with around 20-30 students.
my AP Chem class has 34 kids. there are 3 more AP Chem classes like it at my school
AP English II - 9 from 9 (no change)
AP U.S. History I - 8 from 30. Why so many at first? Oh, the AP U.S. History I course is only in one class, to give it more of the "college appeal." But anyway, one of the World History teachers (the class we take Freshman Year) did not teach worth a crap, so because everyone had at least a 97 in that class, an A+, and qualified for AP, they were all placed in that class. There were about 24 in that class, and 22 dropped it because it was "too hard." I had the hardest World History Honors teacher, pulled an A/A+ average of 95-96, and pulled through.
my ap chem class has only 6 people signed up...last year a bunch of people signed up for ap chem and i guess after seeing the numerous low grades, less people became interested in signing up
Chem was like .. ehh .. 40?
Phys was like ... ehh .. 36?
Labs were always fun .. teacher couldn't keep an eye on all of us - you can just imagine how that always ended.
