Reputation Points?

I was just looking on one of the threads that I posted on and I noticed some justice scales on my name, I clicked on them and it said something about reputation points? What exactly are these points and what are they used for?

You can use these reputation points for "rewarding" people who helped you out with a question a good reputation. Its just another way other than post count to see who is really helping out people :)

What's the whole deal with the Junior Member and member thing? I just changed to a member...I think. How does that work?

I think its by how active you are in the forums (hence # of posts) And if not that then the admins or mods must manually do it I guess...
