Nation Of Islam

NATION OF ISLAM is not a part of ISLAM. the beliefs are quite different. just because they say ISLAM doesn't mean they are a part of ISLAM. It would be like me saying that sunni islam is a part of christianity. Its untrue. the website needs to fix this error imediatly.

The Nation of Islam is a total different religion. Majority of the Muslims scholars agree in saying that it is a misguided and deviated from the truth(Islam).
The Pure Islam is the Islam presented by total obdience and worship to God and his Messenger Muhammad(peace and blessing be upon him).
In order to be a follower of Islam, a Muslim must follow the five pillars:

1. Shahada (Declaration of Fath)
- A believer must declare and give total worship to God(Allah). A believer must believe in One God and not deviate into polytheistic ideologies such as son, daughter, and idoltry.

2. Salaat(Prayer)
- a Believer must perform the prayers 5 times a day which was commanded upon the believers. A Muslim prays 5 times:
Fajr(Dawnish), Zuhr(Noon) Asr(Late Afternoon) Maghrib(Sunset) Ishah(AfterSunet-Late Night).

3. Sawm(Fasting)
- A believer must fast in the month of Ramadan if he/she is capable of doing so.

4. Zakaat(Charity)
- A believer who can afford to give charity must give a certain prescribed percentage towards charity.

5. Hajj(Pilgrimmage)
- A believer must perform the Hajj to Kaaba located in Makkah. If he his no capable of doing so then God Willing his intention will be accepted. If he dies before the pilgrimmage then someone on his behalf can do it for him/her.

These obligations a Muslim believer must follow. The Nation of Islam does not commit itself to these acts. They are just a deviant belief that was created in USA.

Is the Nation of Islam the african american group that Malcom X was apart of? and later broke away from.

Nation of Islam was a deviant group that preached that Elijihah Muhammad was there leader and God made the first man black.
Yes, Malcolm X had joined the group while he was in jail. A member of the group was also locked up and they started to converse in this subject. Malcolm X, later, started to give speeches and lectures all over. After a while, he said some negative comments relating to the assissination of JFK, which led him to silence by the Nation of Islam. After that, he decided to go on Hajj(Holy Pilgrimmage to Makha). There he discovered the TRUTH(ISLAM) and the real teachings of the Quran and Sunnah(Tradition of Prophet Muhammadpbuh))
He found black, white, arab, asian, all decents of people worshipping one God, Allah. There he realized the truth and became a real Muslim. After learning his real truth, he came back and started to preach about it. This caused the Nation of Islam to get angry, so they decided to assissinate him. Malcolm X was assissinated and had become a martyr.
