i personally think that its good to take as many AP classes as you can...without completely dying. I am a sophomore taking 4 APs...most of them are social sciences but I still think they would be useful since I won't have to take classes that I don't need or like in college.

Taking any AP class will definitely help you but some may not be worth it if you are not interested or challenged in the subject area. I enjoy math and it comes easily to me, so I have taken both calculus classes. Believe it or not, I feel like the AP English classes I have taken have been more valuable as I was challenged in a whole new level and I grew as an author and a reader.

I'm taking AP U.S. History, AP Language and Composition, and AP Spanish Language right now, and i plan on taking AP Euro, AP Bio, and AP Calculus next year.
You should choose what based on what you're good at, because AP classes are hard and if you fail that won't look good on a college application. But if you can do well in the class, colleges will notice that you took a tough course.
Also think about what you want to take in college. If you do well on the AP test, you can get college credit for them. You can either get some GenEd classes out of the way or get a head start in a subject you might want to major in.

I would choose AP European History if you love history in Europe.  As a matter of fact the class is interesting and it will help you if you want to be a lawyer since going into law involves document anaylsis. Moreover acing the exam saves you part first year art credit.
