What type of character is John and Carol? Are they foil, dynamic, static etc.? I think Carol stays the same but I'm not sure because other people say that she changes in the end by standing up for herself. I think John does not change either because he still cuts Carol off every time she speaks.

What are the allusions and parallels in the story? I can't seem to find any.

How would you describe Mamets' syntax? Can you give me some examples?

And at the end of the play why does Carol say "yes thats right"? I do not understand what it means. Is it showing that Carol is just as strong as John?

Thank You!! :)
