Senior Year

Sep 02, 2009

Whoop! Finally the last of my frist week of high school is over with. I thought that it would be a little more difficult, but I guess not. I only have 6 of the 7 periods. I am taking 2 AP classes (Gov and English), one dual credit class College Algebra (omg it is the WORST because I have a sub for a teacher. She does not know what she is doing. It's HORRIBLE), and a few electives (theatre, bcis, and debate). SO I am hoping that this is going to be a good year. I have a new princliple who reminds me of a Nazi (seriously). Its kinda funny welcoming the Juniors to their Junior year because at my school Junior year is the hardest. Senior year they just want to keep us here (we have a 20% drop out rate), so even the AP classes are relativly easy. Debate is starting up again WHOOP! Grid Iron Girls are also starting too. Its kinda where the girls "adopt" a varsity football player to give them "gifts" like candy and gatoraid on game day. Even though the football team here is pretty lame, we still have school spirit. What else is wierd is that my ex isn't at the school. We broke up because he became a "big bad college student", so he is too good for me or something or other. It's wierd how much of a mark they have left behind. It is also wierd to see myself as a Senior. I have been waiting to go to McD's to ask for a Senior discount. Kroger I ask for one. I still need to take my SAT. It's in October. :/ I really don't want to take it. The sign up process for it alone takes an hour. Blah. I SHOULD go do that while I am procrastinating doing homework.
