The law, SB1070, has been passed in Arizona. This makes it a crime under state law to be in the country illegally, and grants police the power to stop and verify immigration status of anyone they suspect of being illegal("SENATE BILL 1070"). This new law clearly violates the U.S. Constitution in two ways. To address the issue of illegal immigration patching up the border should be more of a priority than getting illegals out of the U.S.
