When you choose a college, it will probably be the biggest decision you’ve made in your life up until that point. Few decisions cause teenagers as much anguish as deciding where to continue their education. It’s a choice that must be considered very carefully, as it can make a big impact on your future.
Everyone has been there. You are half way through the semester and you are totally bombing that class that you were forced to take. You wish you never had to go in the first place, but you know that you need a passing grade in order to graduate.
Not every class you will take throughout your educational career will be entertaining or interactive. Some of them, unfortunately, will be downright boring. Alas, all schools have core requirements that students simply cannot get out of taking. So what are some ways to help you survive a boring class?
Isn’t it a wonder how technology can make our life easier by providing us with things that we didn’t imagine possible? From the 1970s, the birth of the first mobile phones, to the 1990s, where the miniaturization of mobile phones finally happened, we always thought that these mobile phones are only restricted to just calling and receiving calls. Then, the technological geniuses of Silicon Valley fused cameras, alarm clocks, flashlights, portable gaming consoles, organizers and the mobile phone into the modern Swiss army knife: the smartphone.
SAT, or the “SAT Standard Reasoning Test”, is a form of standardized testing used in the United States for college admission. The colloquialism “SAT” used to stand for Scholastic Aptitude Test; later, it stood for Scholastic Assessment Test; today, the letters do not represent any particular arrangement of words.
The SAT is a time honored tradition that just about every high school student must experience before moving on in their educational career. The math portion of the test is a source of much anxiety and frustration for many people, especially if the science does not come naturally to them. Fortunately, the powers-that-be allow students to use an SAT calculator on that portion of the exam.
