Chem final

Currently having trouble understanding how to find the frequency and energy of a wavelength. Can anyone help me out? I have a final tomorrow and I know that this will be a large portion of it.

Well, I know this comment is probably too late, but frequency and wavelengh can always be found by the following formula:  c = frequency x wavlength, where c is the speed of light

I would also like to know the difference between frequency and wavelength!

Frequency can be defined as the number of cycles a wave has in a certain period of time.  If time is measured in seconds, the unit for frequency is hertz, Hz.  Wavelength is the distance between repeating parts of a wave usually from crest to crest or trough to trough.  Since wavelength is a measurement of distance or length, its unit is some form of a meter.  The usual ones are nanometer, or if used in the speed of light formula, the meter.  Frequency and wavelngth are inversely proportional.  For example, if frequency increases, wavelength decreases.
