Off-Topic II: Fear and Loathing

This is the new off topic thread.

And yes, the title is reference to Hunter Thompson.

Fun fact:

I'm playing lead guitar in the Hofstra University production of Footloose.

This is the cheesiest music I've ever heard. And my god, it's all so easy.

I think the only redeeming thing that will come from this performance is the $600 in my pocket.

Dang. I could use $600 right now! Want to split it with me?

I could use $600 myself.

Oooh, ooh--fun fact of my own! Two weeks ago I won $150 for placing 4th at a horse show! The money I won almost paid for the money I spent to get there. And I fell off during it, too.

I actually fell off at the perfect time--I had just finished my jumping round and passed the timers, so I was officially done. And then I fell off. Once I get the video of my ride I'll post a link here, so everyone can see the wonderful spill. And then later on when my horse took off with me in our victory lap...twice. Lol

So I'm probably the last musician on earth to make a myspace page.

But now you people can actually listen to the crap I do for a degree.

Well you've managed to impress me! I love all the sax in "Oleo". But I'm also a complete and utter whore for sax music, so that doesn't say too much. Were you the one on piano? If so, your improv bits were really nice. Whenever I tried to do improve I sucked because I just couldn't come up with the music, but you really made it seem effortless and smoothed it right in to the rest of the band's pieces. The song's nice, and really flows around like good jazz should. I'm listening to "All Blues" right now, and I also think it's nice. I don't like it as much, but that's just because I really like the energy in "Oleo". Will you be putting any of your own music up? Or did you write these pieces yourself?

And when can I hear you play the guitar? I really want to hear that!

EDIT:
Well, I'm still listening to "All Blues". Wow, man, I love that guitar! Whenever you get a CD out, let me know--I want one. Really. I like this music!
