Can anyone tell me 8 differences between the Puritan philosophies of Jonathan Edwards, and the "Age of Enlightenment" philosophies of Benjamin Franklin?

1. The Puritans believed that man was predestined, people of the Era of Enlightenment did not.
2. The Puritans believed that God was involved in every part of their lives, while people of the Enlightenment Era believed that God did not meddle in worldly affairs.
3. The Puritans believed that heaven on Earth was something to strive for, but could not ever be achieved. The people of the Enlightenment Era believed that heaven on Earth was possible.
4. The Puritans saw Jesus as the son of God, while the people of the Enlightenment Era saw Jesus as the son of man: an excellent philosopher, but not God.
5. The Puritans believed that people are inherently evil; the people of the Enlightenment Era believed that people came into the world with a blank slate, changed by their actions, whether good or bad.
6. The Puritans believed that perfection was possible only through Divine Intervention; the people of the Enlightenment Era saw it possible without His help.
7. The people of the Enlightenment Era believed that improving society would improve people, the Puritans had no such belief.
8. The people of the Enlightenment Era were not religious as much as philosophical.
